Video: Beirut – ‘La Llorona’

Zach Condon and friends have a two-disc EP package forthcoming. This tune is taken from the 6-track March of the Zapotec EP which was recorded in Oaxaca, Mexico, and features the 19-piece Jimenez Band, with the other EP entitled Holland consists on new synth-based recordings of Condon’s under the name Realpeople. Looking forward to it.

  1. “new synth-based recordings of Condon’s under the name Realpeople.”

Is that the same stuff he recorded when he was 16? I think you linked to an album that he recorded as the Real People or something called ‘the Joys of Losing Weight’. That album is great, would be deadly to see it reissued or new stuff like it.
