I still adore this tune from Major Lazer even though it has overtly autotuned vocals and is pure Europop. Actually, that’s WHY I love it. What’s wrong with me?

man, i’m as conflicted as you are with this song.. used to skip it when i listened to the album, because it just sounds like an obvious attempt at commercial success. the song’s pure stupidness, but in the rare moments you feel stupid enpugh yourself, it actually makes you feel good. can’t help it..
Was addicted to this tune for a few months and was very disappointed to miss them at Electric Picnic because of traffic. Yeah, its autotuned and cheesy. And it’s stupid – but no more stupid than the rest of the album. It has about three different hooks, making it catchy as fuck. Perfect for those ‘stupid’ moments alright.
Do you reckon it will see commercial success? Would be great to hear it in clubs. Great remix BTW.

been playing the Diplo mix too its great, but its been killing dancefloors
