  1. lots of respect for the boogieman ,i can remember when he used to rap on the lyricist lounge on mtv lol
    ahh better days ,
yo! mtv raps remember that **sigh**

his albums are a breadth of fresh air in an otherwise choked scene.
he made a pretty good ford prefect too in hhgttg!

  2. I don’t mean to go on a rant here but…… t
in my opinion there’s still plenty of great hip hop coming out you just have to scratch the surface a bit. Look at the last couple of years, quality albums from Black Milk, Pharaohe Monch, Percee P, DOOM, Mr Lif, Pete Rock, Jake One, eMC, Nas, Q-Tip, Raekwon, GZA, Ghostface, DJ Quik & Kurupt ect. ect.

I know that the last few years won’t be remembered as a golden era in hip hop but don’t let that put you off! There are still plenty of gems out there!

A few good hip hop sites worth checkin are Fat Lace Mag, The Rap Up Smoking Section and HHC Magazine.
