Vogelbat is delightfully discombobulating on ‘Ovl’

David Sheenan’s previous work as Vogelbat ranges from ambient beat productions to densed textured dance music.

‘Ovl’ is a new track from the Berlin-based Irish electronic producer that takes its inspiration from Portishead and Massive Attack. As such, the song has trip-hop influences with pitch-shifted and chopped vocals from Sad Mermaid. It’s delightfully discombobulating.
