Watch: Citrus Fresh perform Good Grief album tracks featuring Curtisy, Strange Boy & more

Cathal Ryan

Limerick wordsmith Citrus Fresh has dropped Live At Dry Lane 2: Electric Boogaloo, a live video performance of his recent album Good Grief released in August.

Filmed at Dry Lane Studios in Limerick and featuring the likes of Curtisy, Godw1n, 40Hurtz, and Strange Boy, the 20-minute-long feature sees the artist bust out live versions of his Good Grief tracklist alongside collaborators.

‘Wrastling’ sees Curtisy hop on the mic while Rory Sweeney, who produced the tune, nods along from behind the laptop. ‘Cowpoke’ has Limerick rapper Strange Boy join Citrus on the mic while ‘Committal’ features the track producer Godw1n. Citrus is aided by 40Hurtz, who executively produced the album alongside Fresh, on every other track.

The video was directed by Darragh O’Flanagan and had Graham Dalton as Director of Photography – with Mankyy, Rory Sweeney, Gavin Curtis, Danny Lanham, Sean Murray, and Godwin Jonas.

Performing is my bread and butter honestly, I was actually recently diagnosed with A.D.H.D and that reflects so much in the studio as I’ve honestly never been able to sit still, and I actually find sitting down to write to be quite tedious, which probably reflects in me being so miserable in my music!

I really get a proper high off performing that nothing else can compare to. It’s like healthy crack!

Good Grief is dedicated to the memory of Pearce O’Keefe.
