Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten has spoken in the past of his love for Lana Del Rey’s music , saying the band could write “a really good tune” with her.

Her music leans into an era of cinema that I love, and she writes in a way where people can find stories in her music. I honestly think we’d do a really good tune together.”

‘Say Yes To Heaven’ is a song Lana released in 2023, and on the latest Fontaines album Romance, the song ‘In The Modern World’ gives LDR influence for sure.


So it makes sense then that the band have covered ‘Say Yes To Heaven’ in a fine style for BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
