Watch Fontaines D.C.'s stirring Tiny Desk Concert

With alternative versions of Skinty Fia songs

Fontaines D.C. have recorded a NPR Tiny Desk Concert at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago.

The library hosts the band for a stripped-down set of four songs beginning with recent third album Skinty Fia highlight ‘The Couple Across the Way’ with Grian Chatten on accordion accompanied by cellist Maureen Dunne and violist Isaac Henry.

Chatten then joins the rest of the band for the album opener with members of the Northwestern University Choir for ‘In ár gCroíthe go Deo’ before a stirring alternative orchestral versions of ‘Big Shot’ and the band back on full cyclinders with ‘Nabokov’.
