Wider Than Pictures 2026: all you need to know

Everything on lineup, timings, tickets, access and accreditation for the sixth annual concert series at Collins Barracks, running Tuesday August 25th to Sunday August 30th.

Wider Than Pictures returns to the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks for its fifth year, running six nights from Tuesday August 25th to Sunday August 30th.

  • Wednesday August 26th (Night 2) – Amyl and the Sniffers, with special guests Mannequin Pussy + Spider
  • Thursday August 27thFaye Webster, with special guests SPRINTS + Amie Blu
  • Friday August 28th – berlioz presents deep in it, with special guests Sofia Kourtesis + Ricky Chong
  • Saturday August 29thMac DeMarco, with special guest Tex Crick (sold out)
  • Sunday August 30th – Super Furry Animals, with special guests Baxter Dury + Really Good Time.

Where and how to get there


Collins Barracks sits between the River Liffey, the Phoenix Park, and the Smithfield and Stoneybatter neighbourhoods, entry via Liffey Street West. The Museum LUAS stop is right outside, and it’s also served by multiple bus routes. There’s no parking at the venue, so public transport is the way to go.

Stage and event times

Exact stage times will be confirmed closer to each show, but the general schedule is:

  • Doors: 6pm
  • Start: 7pm
  • Curfew: 10:30pm

Food and drink

Draft stout, beer and ale come from independent craft brewery River Rye, alongside spirits, wine and non-alcoholic options.

Sustainability

A Cup Return Scheme runs across all shows, a €3 deposit applies per reusable cup, refunded at designated return windows at the bar at the end of the night. Card refunds go back to the original payment card, so bring it with you; cash refunds are available with a receipt.

Age requirements

Have your digital ticket downloaded and ready to scan.

  • Amyl & The Sniffers shows: strictly over 18s
  • Mac DeMarco: strictly over 16s (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)
  • berlioz presents deep in it: strictly over 16s (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult)

Accessibility

All shows are fully standing on tarmac. An accessible viewing platform has limited availability, and all accessible tickets are now sold out. Accessible toilets and ramps are available on site for all ticket holders.

Prohibited items

Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, flares and high-power torches; alcohol, drugs or illegal substances; animals (except guide dogs); anything considered an offensive weapon; laser pens; professional photographic equipment (detachable lenses and/or drones); selfie sticks; umbrellas; high-vis clothing; bicycles; bags larger than A4; aerosols; audio recorders; air horns; cans; camping equipment; drones; food and drink; garden furniture, deckchairs, fold-up chairs or shooting sticks; glass; GoPros; large chains, spiked bracelets or wallet chains; megaphones; nitrous oxide; portable laser equipment; smoke canisters; sound systems; spray cans.

Anything else

Wider Than Pictures is partnering with Hygiene Hub this year, a Dublin charity tackling hygiene poverty. Guest list ticket holders will be invited to donate €10 per ticket to the charity.
