Young Montana - 'Hot Heathrr'

This is one of those “Oh damn!”, “Hot shit!” tunes that’ll just lift you out of your seat.

It shifts from nice sampled instrumental hip-hop to incorporate harder sounds more often heard on Chris Clark records – breakneck cut and paste distortion, a gorgeous repeating sample, a change of pace – this ain’t a track it’s a movement in parts. Exhilarating.

Young Montana got an Introducing slot on the blog a few months back. He is Jon Pritchard from Coventry and an album is forthcoming on Alpha Pup – he just finished it yesterday. A couple more tunes are available on Bandcamp.
