Villagers‘ Conor O’Brien was the guest at We Love Yule last Saturday night, the Young Hearts Run Free event in aid of the Simon Community in The Co-Op on Newmarket Square in Dublin 8. I had a great time on the night catching sets from Ocho, Donal Lunny, Spook Of The Thirteenth Lock, The Strypes and of course, Conor who performed a selection of solo songs including this beautiful {Awayland} opening track ‘My Lighthouse’ with Rhob Cunningham on backing vocals as captured by the ever-present Myles O’Reilly.
