On Friday night at Electric Picnic (September 2nd), 2FM will host a special once-off festival event where 2FM presenter Jenny Greene will join forces with The RTÉ Concert Orchestra to play the Rankins Wood stage.
The 2FM performance will bring Electric Disco DJ Jenny Greene’s DJ set and a 48-piece orchestra together to playing classic 90s dance anthems in a brand new way, from Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’ to Snap’s ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’ to Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’, this is an opportunity to hear classics like you’ve never heard them before with the power of an orchestra.
It all happens from 8pm to 11pm at the Rankins Wood Stage.
2FM are also offering a comp for two passes to the Picnic right now if you’re scrambling for tickets.
