WEDNESDAY 13TH DECEMBER:

Zolala Klub @ Siopa Gan Ainm (7.30pm, free)
A monthly celebration of the obscure and esoteric continues with sound-art-related talks and performances.

Little Green Cars (additional date) @ Live at St. Luke’s (8pm, €27)
A second date in addition to Thursday’s full house at St. Luke’s for the much-fancied five piece.

THURSDAY 14TH DECEMBER:

The Poor Decisions @ The Village Hall (8.30pm, €5)
A rising superstar in the field of devastatingly frank anecdotes and one-minute folk ditties hawks his debut bundle of recorded wares, with M.SEA and The Lost Gecko in support.

An Club Cruinn @ The Roundy (9pm, €5)
The second installment of the Roundy’s new monthly folk night includes sets from Anna Mieke Bishop and Paddy MacGloinn (Ye Vagabonds).

Generic People @ Advent (10pm, €tbc)
Advent’s curators take a resident’s night at the pop-up club on Hanover Street.

Crow Black Chicken @ Crane Lane Theatre (midnight, free)
Hard-graft, hard-wearing blues-rock from the world-travelled Corkonian power-trio.

FRIDAY 15TH DECEMBER:

Jack O’Rourke & Marlene Enright @ Live at St. Luke’s (7.30pm, €20)
A headlining double-bill to cap off busy years for two prominent Corkonian singer-songwriters.

HamSandwicH (additional date) @ Triskel Christchurch (8.30pm, €25)
A second Cork date for Dublin indie chart-toppers following a sell-out Thursday gig at the same venue as part of their holiday touring.

Little Green Cars @ Connolly’s of Leap (8.30pm, €20)
Connolly’s starts to celebrate its second re-anniversary with a special gig from Dubland folk/indie five-piece Little Green Cars.

Signal Launch Party @ The Roundy (9pm, €6)
The debut of The Roundy’s new flagship night, a collaboration between promoters Merakindie, Cosmonaut and alt-rock blog Overblown.co.uk. Post-Punk Podge, Cruiser and the seldom-spotted Senior Infants complete a solid line-up ahead of the lads’ planned expansions and collabs in 2018.

Sasha @ CHURCH (9pm, €20)
Dance legend takes the stage at the new Hanover St. venue for his first Cork show in a decade. Vinyl Below DJs on support.

Atmosphere Strut @ Advent (10pm, tbc)
Generic People’s pop-up nightclub is filled this time around with disco, boogie, italo and house from the Atmosphere Strut disc-jocks.

Wired Deep @ Cyprus Avenue (11pm, €8)
House and techno are the order of the night for the end of the exam season.

SATURDAY 16TH DECEMBER:

Stereo Nasty @ Fred Zeppelin’s (8.30pm, €7)
Retro-focused metallers bring the grease to the red room upstairs on Parliament Street. Support from Sectile and Sixth Extinction.

Footnotes @ The Bridge (9pm, free)

Movin’ music from the Footnotes residents as they wind up their year with an all-nighter at the newly-opened Bridge St. venue.

Greg Dowling @ Advent (10pm, €tbc)
One half of Cork house legends Fish Go Deep returns to the decks the week after the duo’s annual birthday blowout.

Simo Cell @ The Roundy (10pm, €10)
French bass/techno artist currently releasing on Livity Sound stops by The Roundy for OutOut. Support from LastMinuteMan and Top Floors.

Revelation Sound System @ Cyprus Avenue (10pm, €10)
The Revelation lads are celebrating twenty years of constructing and upgrading absolutely, unfeasibly large sound systems by unleashing their latest upstairs in Cyprus Avenue.

SUNDAY 17TH DECEMBER:

Sunday Times! @ The Bowery (7pm, free)
After a hectic year of guest appearances and rooftop parties, the Sunday Times lads wind it down with a residents’ party.

Myles Manley @ The Roundy (8pm, €10)
Sligo’s premiere pop star descends handsomely upon his nation’s capital to furnish us with his latest charttoppers. Post-punk percussionists Rattle in support.

Ye Vagabonds @ Connolly’s of Leap (8pm, €15)
The brothers MacGloinn help formally mark two years of the resurrected Connolly’s venue, following the release of their self-titled debut album.

MONDAY 18TH DECEMBER:

Clang Sayne @ The Roundy (9pm, €10)
Laura Hyland and collaborators in ‘songscape’ stop in Cork as part of winter touring after the release of 2017 album ‘The Round Soul of the World’. Anna Mieke in support.
