Jamie Lidell - 'Pink Light'

Jamie Lidell is always on the radar. Lately, it’s been out of the foreground as a producer, live musician or collaborator mode, most recently with the William Onyeabor live band, covering disco classics with Machinedrum and Jimmy Edgar, singing with Tensnake.

He’s also quietly released a 12″ showcasing his soul side and a once-off single ‘Believe In Me’ .

‘Pink Light’ feels like a new style for Lidell to tackle. He has a voice with a range sure, but we’ve never really heard him front this kind of gossamer 80s synth style before, and it typical Lidell fashion it suits him.
