Feist and her indie rock choir perform 1234..

..from Letterman last night. The choir is made up of a who’s who of US/Canadian indie rock: Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene, Carl A.C. Newman of the New Pornographers, Aaron Dessner, Bryan Devendorf, and Scott Devendorf of the National, Nicole Atkins, Grizzly Bear, and Mates of State.

The song blows me away everytime. Coming soon: Feist ticket giveaway for the upcoming Tripod gig.

  1. It’s a great song I agree, but really though, do you not think Feist’s voice is severely lacking on this track?

She just doesn’t have the oomph to pull it off I reckon.
If you got someone to Joe Cocker it up then it would work wonders.

  2. I think thats part of Feist charm, its that lull in her voice that makes her such a gem. If she was ‘oomphed’ up then shes sounds like all the rest.

    Shes grrrrreat!

  3. excellent.

I’ve just been listening to The Reminder this evening.
even though the Picnic is like a day away, I’m incredibly excited about Feist in Tripod!

  4. fucking amazing. i bought tickets to the show but i cant make it now, so i have two for sale. also anyone about the picnic on sunday, come check out the flaws at 1:15 crawdaddy stage.

    peace.

    🙂
