Acid Granny & Elaine Howley are playing an experimental festival at the ICA in London in May
A multi-day festival taking place at the ICA Gallery in London in May will feature a night of Irish music under the banner of New Weird Éire.
Between The Lines is a three-day festival taking place on 13, 20 and 21 May in London’s ICA Gallery, ringing together experimental and leftfield artists working in the UK, Ireland and internationally.
It will feature Nabihah Iqbal launch her album Dreamer on May 13th, Lafawndah and Happa [DJ set] among others on May 20th and on the New Weird Éire night with Elaine Howley (of The Altered Hours), who released a fine solo album last year The Distance Between Heart And Mouth that was one of our favourites of the year, alongside the pied pipers of roving music Acid Granny, the collective of musicians you may have seen on the streets of Dublin with a trolley full of synths, drum machines, tiny guitars, effects and microphones jamming music and riffing with passers by.
Between the Lines is a multi-weekender of interdisciplinary performances, with DJs, performance art, and more. There will be performances across the ICA taking place throughout the day and into the evening. Tickets are available to purchase for individual shows, day and weekend passes.
