Bot’Ox are a French band that R.S.A.G’s Jeremy Hickey has been drumming with over the last couple of years when he’s not drumming for his own project. ‘The Face Of Another’ is an electro stomper with vocals from Anna Jean that remind me of Trish Keenan (RIP). The song takes a diversion with Goblin-style eerie prog synth in its second half.
The video, directed by Flokim Lucas and made by Delapost Paris has a lot of sordid sexual imagery in it but it’s rendered in bright colours with lifelike movement, conjuring a very strange but beautiful dream.
