Cork Film Festival calls for music video submissions for awards & screenings
The Cork Film Festival takes place in November and it has added a strand called Synchronise that focuses on music videos.
The new strand is aiming to showcase the emerging talent in Ireland and internationally. There will be screenings, awards, talks and networking as part of the event. The two new awards are for the Best Irish and Best International Music Videos.
There is an open call for directors to submit open from now until 4 September 2015. As with our feature and short film strands, we are interested in bold ideas, well told, with an emphasis on content and creativity rather than strong production values.
Bob Gallagher’s recent video for Girl Band is a fine recent example of Irish talent.
