Delivery Service on the songs they have on repeat ahead of their The Circle By Jameson Music All Together Now set

Delivery Service are a Dublin four-piece who trade in scrappy, melodic alternative rock, taking their cues from riot grrrl acts like Bikini Kill and Le Tigre and the fuzzier, more melodic side of the 90s in The Breeders and The Sundays.

The band came together after singer and bassist Becca Daly watched a Bikini Kill documentary and decided she wanted to start a band of that ilk. She’s joined by Ciara O’Neill on guitar and keys, Ashley Abbedeen (also of hotgirl) on guitar and vocals, and Niall Thornton on drums and vocals.

They introduced themselves in March 2025 with debut single ‘Ghost’, a track with a distinct Breeders vibe that was recorded and mixed with Skinner’s Aaron Corcoran and mastered by Jamie Hyland. Since then they’ve been building a reputation as a fun, high-energy live band around Dublin, with recent EP five songs collating their music to date, they’re one of the more promising new names to emerge from the city.

Delivery Service play the The Circle by Jameson Music stage at the sold out All Together Now this August Bank Holiday, and Ciara and Becca stepped up to the Guestlist.

What’s a new band you can’t stop listening to and why?

Violet Grohl. Her voice is so cool and her music has such a great sound.

What is a song that’s always likely to get played when you grab the AUX cord?

‘Bon Bon’ by Fcukers. Their new album is also a good one to play, always makes me want to dance.

What’s your favourite track of your own to play right now?

A new song called ‘Agony Aunt’. The back and forth vocals between me and Ashley are really fun, and the chorus makes me feel powerful.

A song you’ve heard in a film or TV show recently that you loved?

‘My Moon My Man’ by Feist (heard in Heated Rivalry). I love the vocals, and the vibe of the song reminds me of the early 2010s twee, Tumblr era, similar to Regina Spektor.

What is the last song you Shazamed or asked someone about?

I Shazamed ‘Lush’ by Dean Blunt. It played before Water From Your Eyes came on stage opening for Hayley Williams.

LUSH

What is an album you’ve recently been recommending to others?

Something We All Got by Cootie Catcher. It’s such a great album, reminds me of The Pastels, and the production is really unique.

Who else on The Circle by Jameson Music stage will you be checking out and why?

Freak Slug and Pebbledash. I’ve heard good things about Freak Slug and she seems up my alley. I’ve seen Pebbledash a few times and they’re really great live.

What song do you want to hear at All Together Now this year?

‘Foundations’ by Kate Nash. It’s a nostalgic one for me and also just a banger.

Ciara

The last song to make you cry?

‘less’ by Olivia Rodrigo. Olivia’s new album might be my favourite release of the year so far. It follows a relationship from the first date butterflies through to the breakup. ‘less’ is so heartbreakingly honest, a hard one not to cry to if you’ve ever had a relationship end.

Olivia Rodrigo - less (Lyric Video)

What’s a song you’d love to cover from an Irish artist?

Spring is Coming with a Strawberry in the Mouth‘ by Operating Theatre. It’s such a rich song, famously covered by Caroline Polachek. There’s so much going on inside that song that I think you could have ten different artists put out a cover and all would sound completely different. It’d be so fun to put our own spin on it.

What was the last great gig you attended and why?

Girlfriend in Workman’s. They’re probably one of the Irish bands I’ve seen the most live. They are endlessly fun and always bring the energy. Me and Niall first met at a Girlfriend gig too, so without them we wouldn’t have Delivery Service.

girlfriend. - Horses

What’s your favourite track of your own to play right now?

‘Truancy’. I just love the keys on that one so much.

What is the last song you Shazamed or asked someone about?

The song that plays as you get on a Ryanair flight. It’s called ‘Island Breeze’ by Surf House Productions.

Have you been to All Together Now before and what did you love about it?

Yes, a few times as a festival-goer and a few times as a performer. I like that they always have a strong lineup of homegrown bands, it’s an easy festival to navigate around, and has good vegan food options. Special shout-out to the nachos at the My Goodness food truck.

Who else on The Circle by Jameson Music stage will you be checking out and why?

I am a big fan of Elaine Malone’s solo work and have yet to get to see pôt-pot, so they are high up on the list to see for me.

‘Disco 2000’ by Pulp. I saw Pulp play a few years ago and this one really gets the crowd moving.
