Dubliners Ghost Estates’ debut album was an impressive and multi-faceted sounding album which brought indie-rock, synth and new wave into the fold.
For the first single from the band’s second, as yet untitled and unfinished album, ‘In Your Dreams’ sits nicely in the middle of all those, yet comes across as a more direct statement, and in under three minutes too. Perhaps streamlined is more the effect, as the band have lost two members since, with drummer Keith Byrne and vocalist/guitarist Alan Monaghan opting out, and the band bringing in new drummer Dave Mulvaney (formerly of Cheap Freaks).
