Brighton’s The Great Escape announce first 100 bands

Avatar

Brighton’s The Great Escape festival has become one of the best markers for new music in the last few years and this year’s edition will feature 400 bands across a weekend from 8th-10th May across 35 venues. They’ve just announced the first 100 bands. Big names include Kelis supported by industry tip Ella Eyre but I’d be interested in seeing the likes of Arthur Beatrice, Benjamin Clementine, Denai Moore, Jeremiah Jae, Rosie Lowe, Jungle and Woman’s Hour.

Irish acts announced are September Girls and Rejjie Snow. Regular tickets are £49.50 right now.
