Myles O’Reilly was in Dingle for the Dingle Arts Féile Na Bealtaine festival and like many visitors to the Kerry town, he happened upon The Dingle Record Shop, owned by Mazz O’Flaherty who charms probably everyone she meets. She invited myself and my partner in to the shop when Bouts were performing for her Sessions from the Shop series back in December and was very welcoming and quite a character.
Myles’ film features similar intimate performances with the likes of Lumiere, Walking On Cars, Avril Bowler, Laurence Courtney, John O’Brien and Mazz & her grandchild Íde (Keogh) O’Flaherty playing in the shop.
