I mentioned this song yesterday but it deserves a post on its own. The last five or six years of output from Groove Armada has passed me by but this new tune is only gorgeous. Former Roxy Music man, Bryan Ferry provides sultry vocals on this mournful tune and it’s the best thing he’s done since he was interviewed by Alan Partridge.
‘Shameless’ is from February’s forthcoming album Black Light. GA play their first show of the tour in Dublin on the 26 February.

unexpectedly cracking track. bryan ferry sounds like he’s channelling ‘American IV’ era Johnny Cash, beautifully cracked and bet-down vocal. fair play, i wouldn’t have touched this one if it wasn’t on the blog.
noticed the way you said the words “groove armada” and “awesome” in the old heading there nialler, and it started me thinking….
Yeh I was stunned to find out those two words weren’t mutually exclusive.
just fucking great. Ferry back in the dark mood-love the lyrics and the mood,
can anyone please give me the lyrics , thanks )
