It’s that time of year again.
The Irish Musicians Rights Organisation (IMRO) have unveiled the shortlist for their annual Irish music venue of the year, music festival of the year and best venue/festival technical crew of 2018.
Obviously, the competition is extremely tight. Having a look through the nominees illustrates as much. The judging panel will pick one venue/festival from each category during the award ceremony.
Of course, the final say on the overall venue of the year will be the public’s (that means you). You can head on over here to cast your votes on each of the categories. Be sure to have your say before the deadline of 5pm, February 22nd.
The award ceremony will take place in the IMRO HQ on February 26th. The event will feature live performances from Inhaler, Pillow Queens and Moncrieff.
