British alternative noise pop group Hookworms announced that they’re splitting up today.
The announcement comes after a sexual abuse allegation was levied at their frontman Matthew Johnson.

All remaining tour dates for the group have been cancelled. While the allegations are being disputed, this seems like another very disappointing case of an artist whose work we have enjoyed being tainted by their personal life.
