Inis Records announce all-Irish pop-up record market for Dublin and London

The two-city event lands at Hen’s Teeth in Dublin on Friday September 4th, with DJ sets from Cathal MacGabhann and Donal Dineen, before heading to London’s Mare Street Market on Sunday September 6th with Kojaque and Tara Kumar behind the decks.

Inis Records are running an all-Irish artists pop-up record market across two cities this September, starting at Hen’s Teeth in Blackpitts, Dublin 8 on Friday September 4th, 5pm til late, before moving to Stranger Than Paradise at Mare Street Market, London E8 4RU on Sunday September 6th, 2pm to 6pm.

The Dublin date brings DJ sets from Cathal MacGabhann and Donal Dineen (playing vinyl), plus more still to be announced, alongside record stalls from Bohemia, Faction Records, Inis Records, Out On A Limb, Pizza Pizza Records, Strange Brew, Ten Spot Records and more.


The London date follows two days later, with DJ sets from Kojaque and Tara Kumar, plus more acts still to be confirmed.

Inis recently launched as a label and online record store. Founded by Tom Coll (Fontaines D.C.), Michael Roe (Adebisi Shank, Richter Collective, Faction) and Ken Allen (Faction Records), Inis Records launched with the expressed goal of release landmark Irish reissues, hidden gems and new music by emerging and established Irish artists.

Inis Records launched with pre-orders for the currently out-of-print Against Nature by cult 80s art-rock band Fatima Mansions. The label has an ambitious release schedule planned for later this year, including:

  • A traditional music compilation from Tom Coll
  • A Showband compilation curated by Charles Hendy of The Mary Wallopers
  • Reissues of important Irish albums

Inis is already stocking records from Faction like Sorcha Richardson, James Vincent McMorrow, Niamh Regan alongside Ash, Fontaines D.C, CMAT, Andy Irvine and Paul Brady, Gilla Band, Horslips, Junior Brother, Kneecap, Lankum, Just Mustard, Skinner, Martin Hayes, Mary Coughlan, The Pogues, Ye Vagabonds and A Woman’s Heart.
