After last year’s debut of new artists on the Paul Institute from Jai Paul and A. K. Paul, the label is back.
Fabiana Palladino (who has worked with Jessie Ware, Sampha and SBTRKT) and Ruthven (a firefighter from Lewisham) are back with two new songs follow up their debut tracks with two worth recommending. Both are versed in eighties sounds as is the Paul custom.
Palladino’s ‘Shimmer’ is a classic ’80s pop ballad with emotive vocals that sound a bit like Solange.
Ruthven’s ‘Hypothalamus’ sounds like a Lionel Richie banger.
BOTH NO BAD THINGS AT ALL THANK YOU.
Listen to them on the Nialler9 New Music Playlist and subscribe there sure.
Both songs are available for listening and purchasing digitally or on vinyl too via enrolment at the funky website paul.institute/.
