Last month, radio chancer James Blake played a song called ‘Bloke’ from “Simon Tallywhacker” and last week on his monthly show, he revealed the track was the other A-side, called ‘Girl’ of Jamie xx’s ‘Sleep Sound’. The single is out on May 5th and is Jamie’s first since 2011’s ‘Far Nearer’ (that doesn’t feel like as long ago as it is).
‘Girl’ is a track with a deep bass groove and a simple hi-end percussion with a vocal sample repeating “I want your love.”
