While Chvrches‘ debut album Bones Of What You Believe is a decent debut, I’ve found myself returning to the Miaoux Miaoux remix of ‘We Share Our Mother’s Health’ more than the album.
Good news for people like me then, the Lies EP features killer remixes of the song from Ikonika, Lxury and Tourist. Lxury’s is the pick of the bunch, the young UK producer Andy Smith who counts Disclosure as peers in sound and youth, produces a wavy garage/electro cut not too disimilar to his excellent ‘J.A.W.S.’ debut track. Ikonika throws her signature Hyperdub electro style as heard on this year’s Aeropolis album over the track. Tourist’s rework is more serene. The EP is on iTunes from Friday.
