Malaki & Lucy McWilliams hook up on the bright laid-back and impressive ‘Fair Play’
Malaki is a rising Dublin artist who has caught our ears in the last year or so.
We featured the 19-year-old hip-hop and spoken word artist’s ‘Cuppa Tea’ last May and he followed that up with the Butterfly Boy EP before 2019’s time was up.
For his first track of 2020, Malaki hooks up with Berlin-based Dublin vocalist Lucy McWilliams for ‘Fair Play’, a laid-back tune of bright proportions. It’s got a lovely interplay between both performers.
The single is the first of five collaborations to be released over the course of five weeks during this isolation period, under the project title Cocoon.
