Tonight sees the launch of Miriam Ingram’s remix album Trampolonica based on the original songs from last year’s Trampoline album. Miriam asked electronic artists like The Last Sound, Ian McDonnell (Lakker), Herv, Thalamus, Amoebazoid, Decal, Jason Forrest and Fairlights to remix her tracks; the only rule being that no extra material could be added. The result is 17 tracks of experimental, ambient and electronic re-workings worthy of purchase.
The album launch is on tonight in Kennedys, Westland Row with Miriam and her Band, Fairlights, Ian McDonnell and Locus Solus. Doors are open at 9 and it’s 10 European pounds in. I will be doing my damnest to make it down after Final Fantasy and so should you.
