Open Ear announce second round of artists for the island festival
The avant-electronic and experimental music festival Open Ear has announced more acts.
Having announced round one in December, the festival has revealed its next batch, as Open Ear Festival returns to Sherkin Island in West Cork from 31st May to 2nd June, 2024.
The latest announcements are:

- Noisy Chilli
- Rustal
- Vacant Heads

Here’s what the festival say about each of the acts:
Crispy Jason – with his treasure trove of synthesizers and hi-energy electronix jams.
Moundabout – expect a trance-inducing, psychedelic folk-not-folk experience on the island from the duo.
Rustal – Dublin city techno / electro producer and hardware carrier Rustal
Dublin – geographically aware ambient group,.
Noisy Chilli – Brazil via The Pale – one of the most exciting DJs in the country at the moment,
Vacant Heads – Derry is also on show as the returning Autumns teams up with Broken English Club / Oliver Ho for their dub-infused EBM project Vacant Heads.
Lesko – Galway unpredictable DJ stylings
