Premiere: Subplots' first release as a trio 'Unspeak' channels a Radiohead-esque ambience

Subplots is made up by Philip Boughton, Daryl Chaney, and newest member Ross Chaney. Their last album as a duo Autumning came out in 2015.

Unspeak is the groups first single as a trio, layered in a rich and textured ambience that channels a Radiohead-esque sound.

The track also features rare vintage synth sounds from a Synton Syrinx.

“Only a few hundred of these Dutch synths were ever made, they now sell for tens of thousands. It’s definitely one of the weirdest, most interesting and inspiring synths we’ve ever used.” Says Phil.
