I was very lucky to be able to visit New York Red Bull Music Academy in May to witness, what is the best music experience any brand in the world puts on in music. Imagine a travelling event that takes in learning, collaborations, live shows, guest lectures with legends, exhibitions and multimedia and you’re almost there. It’s an inspirational event.
It’s also a serious event for musicians, DJs, producers and singers who are serious about making music; from a creative standpoint especially.
So it might interest potential applicants to know that the next RBMA will happen in Tokyo in October 2014, the city it was supposed to take place in a few years ago until the tsunami changed that. The application process opens from January 15 and closes March 18, 2014.
Orquesta and Quietdust were the Irish attendees this year – their story.
