A new festival is coming to Parthalán Place in Tallaght on Saturday August 15th.
RePlay brings together skateboarding, live music, graffiti, dance and street culture for a free, open-access day in South Dublin County Council’s newest public space. Funded by South Dublin County Council and produced by NOISE Music and SoFFt Productions.
The main music stage runs a full-day programme building from family-friendly sets into evening performances, with a Live Rap Cypher, a NOISE Music takeover and a headline closing performance. The NOISE Music Cypher Project supports young DJs, producers and MCs to develop and perform new work alongside established artists throughout the day.
The programme is built around several distinct zones running across the day.
Skateboarding sits at the centre – a performance zone with advanced skaters and live trick demonstrations alongside a mini ramp participation zone with structured sessions for beginners.

A Dance Zone hosts morning showcases from crews and collectives alongside community participation sessions. A large-scale mural commissioned through an open call will be unveiled on the day, with live graffiti activations running across the site. Roaming performers, circus acts, food stalls, a craft market, face painting and football freestyle round out the programme.
Festival ambassadors are adventure athlete Becky Gilmour, skater and Goblin Magazine founder Phili Halton – who will take part in skate showcases – and DJ Finn Dempsey, who performs on the day.
Reflecting on the announcement and the role of skate and street culture in shaping the festival, Philip Halton, Goblin Magazine:
“Since founding Goblin Magazine in 2018, my work has focused on building communities through skateboarding, art, film, photography, and the creative use of public space. Opportunities like this festival are incredibly important because they encourage people to get outside, socialise, and gain insight into cultures like skateboarding that are often misunderstood.”
The festival is also underpinned by a three-day outreach programme across Clondalkin, Jobstown and Lucan in the run-up to the event, delivered with Active Cities and NOISE Music, feeding young participants directly into festival-day activity.
