SOAK is coming home. Bridie Monds-Watson returns to Ireland this summer for a run of intimate shows across eight venues, debuting new material in stripped-back settings before the next record arrives.
The SOAK tour will go to bookshop in Kinsale, a pub in Ballydehob, a record shop in Waterford, the Glenveagh Inn in Termon. These are intimate spaces to allow SOAK’s new songs to breathe.
In Bridie’s own words: “Before the new music comes out, I wanted to bring these songs home and play them for you in person. A lot of these venues hold big memories for me, some I haven’t played in over a decade and some I’ve been dying to play for ages. These rooms are small and special and I can’t wait to play for you’s.”
This tour is a rare chance to hear what comes next before it’s fully public.

We’ve been covering Bridie Monds-Watson aka SOAK on this site since the Before We Forgot How To Dream era – she appeared on the Nialler9 podcast in 2019, played Other Voices, Body and Soul and Electric Picnic, and has been a fixture in our best-of lists across the years. Her third album If I Never Know You Like This Again arrived in 2022 with a 90s indie rock influence and new single ‘Purgatory’ followed the same year. Since then things have been quiet – apart from appearing on a Fred Again.. song , collaborating with Niamh Regan and Gordi, a 2026 appearance on the All Kinds of Everything festival in Derry was the first sign of movement.
