Soft Boy Records are one big happy family on new Boiler Room documentary

“If someone was to bomb this room. The Dublin music scene, finished. ”

If you needed proof that Soft Boy Records are really starting to make waves internationally, global music broadcasting platform Boiler Room have only gone and made a documentary about them.

Set in the run-up to last year’s Electric Picnic, ‘Soft Boy Forever’ takes a look at the people and culture behind the label.

The whole gang is there, including founders Kojaque and Kean Kavanagh. The latter is set to play Future Proof on Thursday.

The documentary was paired with a superb article on Irish hip-hop from Kelly Doherty of Gadget & The Cloud.

It’s an interesting watch. No doubt the collective are currently at the creative helm for some of the nation’s most vibrant art.
