SOMA’s April edition features Odd Morris & The Wha
SOMA Club Nights are the original music gigs series with an aim of showcasing new, original Irish bands. They’re usually based in Dublin but last year saw them expand to different cities around Ireland in an effort to create an infrastructure around the country for acts.
Their next edition takes place on April 26th in Whelan’s and line-up is guitar orientated with Odd Morris & The Wha on the bill.
Odd Morris are the four-piece rockers from Swords that have been opening for Fontaines D.C. and The Murder Capital recently, we premiered their new single ‘What Might Be’ two weeks ago.
The Wha describe themselves as a “four-piece from Kilkenny with nice jackets” but they’re more than that: think grunge guitar tones with a sixties-esque grain nestled in nostalgia laced lyrics.
