Sorcha Richardson – ‘Last Train’
New York-based Irish musician Sorcha Richardson is back on home soil this week to launch her new EP Last Train in The Workman’s Club on Saturday with support from another Nialler9 favourite Liza Flume (€8). It’s the followup EP to Sleep Will Set Me Free EP and her first bit of new music since ‘Nicki’ last year.
The title track ‘Last Train’ is a typically plaintive yet bright-sounding acoustic song from Sorcha with only the deftest of accompaniment other than the guitar: reverb, background plucks and percussion.
