Sounds from a Safe Harbour announce dates for 2025 return to Cork city

Avatar

The biennial Cork festival is back for its 10th year in 2025.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour (SFSH) returns to Cork from September 11th to 14th, 2025. Save the date.

Sounds from a Safe Harbour (SFSH) features live music, dance and conversation with a core curatorial team of actor Cillian Murphy, Bryce Dessner (The National), Festival Director Mary Hickson, and in 2025 – new collaborators: author Max Porter and artist and folklorist Billy MagFhlionn.

The new curators take over from Aaron Dessner and playwright Enda Walsh, the latter who will continue to contribute.

“September 2025 will mark 10 years since Bryce and I started this festival back in 2015. I’m thrilled to be working with these incredible curators to really push the boat out (excuse the pun) to mark this moment. We will celebrate old and new friends and reach into new parts of the city to make deeper connections. We can’t wait to tell you what we have been cooking.
