Today the organisers behind Cork’s Sounds From A Safe Harbour festival announced something bound to put a smile on the face of many.

The festival, now entering its third year, will now be a 6-day affair. That means the dates for the festival are now Septemeber 10th-15th.

More time means more acts and the festival have coupled the news about the extended running time with the announcement of some really intriguing and exciting additions to the lineup.

There will be three additional dates for the performance of Teac Damsa Swan Lake / Loch na hEala, a multidisciplinary dance, theatre and music performance. This is the first time the award-winning show has performed in Cork.

Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh and Thomas Bartlett, having worked together previously with the Gloaming project, launch their collaborative album in St.Luke’s on the 13th.

Tickets for all five of these shows will go on sale on June 28th from here.
