Tei Shi - 'See Me'

Argentinian-born NYC-based singer Valerie Teicher’s last track as Tei Shi was one of my favourites of last month. ‘Bassically’ is a dark pulsing noir-pop song of the highest order.

By contrast, ‘See Me’ takes it slow, luxuriating in a creaking groove with Teicher’s vocal pushing a gentler disposition. The track, fittingly as it sounds like it, was produced as a trio with Dave Bayley of Glass Animals, Gianluca Buccellati and Tei Shi.
