The Next Big Thing 2025 weekender happens in The Workman’s Club next weekend
The Next Big Thing weekender presents 20+ acts over three days at The Workman’s Club from January 22nd to 24th in Dublin.
The weekender is put on by Ex Oh Promotions and it is the fourth instalment of the DIY festival, “curated by musicians for musicians”.
Playing live across two stages from Wednesday 22nd to Friday 24th of January are an eclectic lineup of music from indie pop band Still Blue, Cork shoegaze rockers Pebbledash, alt-metal pop artist Ailsha, “New Rage”, Dublin-based Chilean artist electronic producer Vaticanjail, shoegaze Dubliners Dream Boy, alt-rap producer rapper GNS, horn-assisted rock Yes Chef! and art-psych-rock band and, he the fool among them.
Ex Oh’s philosophy puts independent artists at the centre of the industry, giving them a platform, and ensuring that they not only get the recognition they deserve, but are paid fairly for their craft.
TNBT alumni include Cliffords, Essiray, Speakers, and The Fae.
This year’s event will also include a mini vintage market beside the Cellar Stage, along with local market stalls selling bespoke art and jewellery.
The Next Big Thing 2025 is sponsored by Oatier, who will create a bespoke one-time only cocktail for the festival, and after last year’s attendees went mad for the Espresso Oatini, you better believe it’ll be a goodie.
Ex Oh has partnered with Safe Gigs Ireland to create an environment that is free of discrimination, and sexual violence for all attendees, and where there is a zero-tolerance policy for abuse of artists, attendees or Workman’s staff.
