Hornets @ The Poor Relation (9pm, €6)
Belfast hardcore bruisers launch debut full-length ‘WITCH HUNT’ with an Irish tour, including tonight’s Cork date. Support from hardcore boys BAILER and progressive hardcore outfit Destriers.

Ailbhe Reddy & Maria Kelly @ Coughlan’s Live (9.30, €10)
Nialler-approved singer-songwriter Ailbhe Reddy is joined by anti-folk goddess Maria Kelly for a show in the intimate Douglas Street venue.

SATURDAY MAY 27TH

Cork Community Gamelan – Beginner’s Workshop (3pm, free)
Beginner’s workshop in the Indonesian percussive orchestral instrument. Presented by Music Generation Cork City and UCC as part of MGCC’s May-Hum festival.

Taboo @ UrbanJungle (10pm, €TBC)
Vinyl Love man Stevie G. lends his weight to a stacked line-up, alongside DJs Grillz and Cheddar, with hip-hop, afrobeat and more.
