Villagers drops surprise EP The Sunday Walker
Over the weekend, Conor O’Brien shared some lyric sheets for unreleased songs on Twitter.
Those acts of sharing were leading up to the release of a new 4-track EP today called The Sunday Walker which features four songs of mostly-orchestral assisted folk songwriting, which were recorded during the time of The Art Of Pretending To Swim sessions.
“The tracks that fell through the cracks; it turns out they had their own story to tell. The Sunday Walker EP is a collection of lost songs as much as it is an emotional arc. Songs of loss and songs of realisation. Songs of empathy and isolation.”
You can now listen to the tracks below via Spotify / Apple Music:
1. Did You Know
2. Sunday Walker
3. Adora Venera
4. Note to Self (for Michael)
