Villagers to play Darling Arithmetic 10th anniversary show at The Helix

The gig takes place on Thursday May 29th at The Helix in Dublin, presented by Foggy Notions, and Dublin is one of three cities along with Paris and London where these acoustic performances will take place.

Darling Arithmetic was released in April 2015 and features the singles ‘Courage’, ‘Hot Scary Summer’, ‘Everything I Am Is Yours’.

It was an album of the week upon release on Nialler9.

The stripped down nature of the album highlights what a great songwriter O’Brien is. These songs are captivating enough in their demo-style form because O’Brien is an elegant arranger and musician too; he has things to say we can relate to, and sentiments that comes from a heart, his heart, with an underlying confidence that comes from experience and learning from it.

Tickets €46 plus fees on general sale Friday 24th January at 10am.
