Wanderlust, the outdoor listening social gathering returns with a new event called Common Ground.
Wanderlust features recorded DJ mixes played on headphones, silent disco style, in a walk in nature environment, with previous events taking place at Killiney Hill.
Wanderlust’s next event is called Common Ground and takes place at The Grand Canal on Sunday the 3rd of November at 1pm. It will feature an audio backdrop curated by Dublin-based DJ JWY “weaving themes of unity, community and change.”
“I wanted to create a mix that has a mix of drummy, bass heavy and UK funky riddims. Without realising it you’ll be marching through the walk.”

JWY is followed by a performance by All-Ireland Poetry Slam Champion Anna D touching on personal wellbeing in a neoliberal capitalist society.
“Community, creativity and collective action,” are central themes of the event.
Common Ground will feature a temporary exhibition titled ‘A Fractured City: from Hostility to Hospitality’ curated by wanderlust co-founder Rachel Mulqueen featuring work from architectural collective Rubble and Squashed Living.
Food on the day will be provided by Fulacht (by artist Rudi-Lee
McCarthy) alongside kombucha by All About Kombucha, with more surprises
