Watch: Kojaque & Luka Palm strike out in video for 'Date Night'

The video for Kojaque and Luka Palm’s collab track ‘Date Night’ arrived last week. Directed by Kevin Smith (Kojaque) and Sam McGrath, the video is a superb example of just how high a standard of visual an artist can achieve with little to no budget and a creative mindset.

The label’s art school influence definitely shines through in the composition of some of the shots, check out the scenes in the Lighthouse cinema and the boxing club scene for example.

However, there’s no good substitute for intuitive ideas, the entire Softboy crew seems to have these in spades and have always has had. Remember the video Kojaque shot underwater?

Now, any sign of that Luka Palm release?
