Once Upon A Sound is broadcaster and DJ Donal Dineen’s new music video series made in conjunction with Fingal County Council’s Arts Office.
Each episode is recorded at The Hide Project, a sculpture by artist Garrett Phelan located along the Rogerstown Estuary, North County Dublin and home to a diverse population of resident and migrating birds.
Dineen meets each artists on the grounds and discusses their music and plays a bit too. The threee episodes feature Niwel Tsumbu, Anna Mieke and Liam Ó Maonlaí, three solo artists with differing backgrounds, perspectives, voices and instruments.
