Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming with Dave Letterman is a new Disney+ documentary/live concert gilm premiering on the streaming service on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th.

Shot in Dublin, with host Dave Letterman on his first-ever visit to Ireland, the film sees two members of U2 hanging out in Dublin and performing a semi-private concert at The Ambassador Theatre, to only select fans and audience members.

“While Larry was injured and Adam was off making an art show, Edge and I asked David Letterman to Dublin to talk about our songs,” Bono says of the film.

You may spot members of Ye Vagabonds, Saint Sister, Kate Ellis and more in the performing band, while Glen Hansard, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Markéta Irglová, Imelda May, Loah, Grian Chatten of Fontaines D.C., and Dermot Kennedy who also feature in the film.

The release of the docu-special, coincides with the rleease of U2’s Songs Of Surrender, a collection of 40 seminal U2 songs from across the band’s catalog, re-recorded and reimagined.

The film also features Letterman exploring spots like the Forty Foot, on the DART, and McDaid’s pub.

“Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, with Dave Letterman” is produced by Imagine Documentaries, Tremolo Productions, and Dave Letterman’s Worldwide Pants. For Imagine Documentaries, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Sara Bernstein and Justin Wilkes are executive producers; Séamus Murphy-Mitchell is producer; and Meredith Kaulfers and Mike Sweeney are co-executive producers. For Tremolo, Morgan Neville is director and producer, and Caitrin Rogers is executive producer. For Worldwide Pants, Tom Keaney is executive producer, and Mary Barclay is co-executive producer.
