Katie Crutchfield has announced Irish dates as part of an upcoming tour.

The country-tinged American artist is back with a new album Tigers Blood, out March 22nd on ANTI- Records. The album’s new single ‘Bored’ is below, with a video shot at Devil’s Backbone Tavern in Fischer, Texas.

The tour takes Crutchfield all across Europe and UK this July and August, including Belfast’s The Belfast Empire Music Hall on July 31st and Dublin’s Vicar Street on August 1st where the tour ends.

EU tickets go on sale Friday, February 16th at 10am local time with links at Waxahatchee’s site.

Of the new Waxahatchee song ‘Bored’, Crutchfield says:

“I feel like my comfort zone when writing songs lies somewhere on the emotional spectrum of sadness and heartache. Writing from a place of happiness scares me. Too earnest. Anger scares me even more. I wrote ‘Bored’ about one of those situations where anger was called for and was the only authentic place from which to write about what I was experiencing. It was a challenge for me and ‘Bored’ is the end result.”

‘Right Back to It’ also features on the album:
